NH: Sen. Judd Gregg goes for Romney

CBS News reports:

Sen. Judd Gregg is supporting Mitt Romney for President.

The campaign of Mitt Romney, who is leading in polls for the GOP nomination in New Hampshire, today announced that three-term New Hampshire Senator Judd Gregg has endorsed the former Massachusetts governor.

"Mitt Romney embodies New Hampshire's values – values that stress government living within its means, lower taxes, a stronger military and stronger families," said Gregg in a statement. The Senator will campaign with Romney today and "in the coming weeks and months," according to the Romney campaign.

In the latest Rasmussen poll, Romney has the support of 28 percent of likely New Hampshire primary voters, while Rudy Giuliani has 19 percent, Sen. John McCain 16 percent and Mike Huckabee 10 percent.

Romney officially files for the New Hampshire primary today. Giuliani, meanwhile, is spending four days in the state this week in an effort to close the gap with his rival.
